The Artist is a Cultural Leader and Healer

Your work matters—not just to you, but to the world.

Art has always been the thread that ties us to the infinite, the stories that outlive us.

Do you want to take yourself, your ideas, and your art more seriously than ever before? Stop apologizing for your art, stop treating it like an afterthought, and start building a life where your creative practice takes center stage—not someday, but today.

This residency is about helping you step fully into your role as a creator of meaning.

You’ve felt it— the ache of ideas and visions that live just beneath the surface, waiting to be brought to life. But great work isn’t meant to exist in isolation.

Even the greatest artists, thinkers, and visionaries needed a space where their ideas could be nurtured, challenged, and expanded. Without it, momentum withers.

The Creative Liberation Residency is your chance to stop waiting and start making the work that’s yours alone to create—inside a community that sees you, fuels you, and calls you to your highest creative potential.

How much longer will you wait? For the perfect conditions? For the world to give you permission? What might happen if you stopped waiting and said yes to your creative life—fully, unapologetically, right now?

You just need the right tools, guidance, and community to unlock the power you already hold.

Our Culture Needs Empowered Artists, Storytellers, Magicians, Sages, and Mystics Now More Than Ever.

The Sage: Guardian of Wisdom.

These archetypes hold the power to create profound cultural change— through healing, insight, transformation, and beauty - yet to fulfill their roles, they must first become whole within themselves.

They often face challenges—self-doubt, burnout, and creative drought—that prevent them from stepping fully into their power.

That’s why this residency exists: to nurture these archetypes, helping them thrive as whole, empowered artists who can bring their gifts into the world

The Creative Liberation Residency was inspired by the ancient Vedic tradition of Caturmasya, a sacred four-month period during the monsoon season when the fields could no longer be worked, and people turned their attention inward. They made vows to deepen their internal lives, focusing on reflection, devotion, and spiritual growth.

Much like the rains nourish the earth, this residency is designed to be rain for your internal world—a time to return to the wild river of your own artistry -

Meet Your Guide : Lila Vrindavan

A woman in a white dress sitting on a wooden bench outside with her hair in a bun and large hoop earrings, looking into the distance.

Lila Vrindavan is a visual artist, educator, mentor, and yogini with a passion for uniting people through aesthetic experience.

Her lifetime has been one of deep commitment to both artistry and spirituality. She spent 14 dedicated years of her early life studying and performing Russian classical ballet, and eventually transitioned to study visual art full-time receiving her BFA in Drawing/Painting from Carnegie Mellon University.

Surrounded by the arts from such a young age instilled in her a sense of wonder. This very inquiry led Lila to study mysticism, yoga philosophy, ayurveda (eastern healing science) and bhakti (devotion) from master teachers for over a decade.

After teaching these mystic practices to hundreds of students all over the world, she she observed a gap in the creative community.

That is how the Creative Liberation Residency was born - creating a space where rigorous creative commitment, nerdy existential inquiry, and real-life responsibilities could meet.
