In this course, we systematically study the 5 elements: earth, water, fire, air, and ether. This study serves as a method for deepening your relationship with your creative materials, and as a framework of exploration that will help you break through to new ideas and inspiration.

It is an interdisciplinary course for creatives with a developed practice. Whether you are a visual artist, photographer, dancer, writer, etc. you are invited to this intimate group of artists. If you are seeking a community that works at the cross section of art, ecology, and spirituality - this is for you!

We will:

• Get messy and intuitive, working with our hands to develop new ideas, and refine them into larger vision projects to execute

• Meditate, hike, and be in like minded community to give you the accountability to bring forward your creative vision

• Study Philosophical and scientific significances and properties of these elements

• Learn how artists have used these elements as both material and subject in historical and contemporary art contexts
